My Reflection

I am learning to make connections between the text and my own experiences. I found it hard to remember a lot of stuff that happened in the book and making that connection with my own life. My next steps are to keep practicing using this skill so I can get better.

I am learning to make predictions before I read a story. I found it hard because it was hard for me to think about the different things on the front of Finding Tibs. I had to really think about what the title meant. My next steps are to think harder about what I am looking at and choose somewhere good to sit so that I don't get distracted.

My Reflection

I am learning to structure a piece of explanation writing. I found it hard because I had to remember the life cycle of the butterfly and what order to put it in. My next steps are to listen carefully when we are learning.

My Reflection

I am learning to identify fractions. I found it hard because I had to remember which was the top and the bottom number. I used the colours to help me. My next steps are to concentrate hard in maths.

I am learning to spell my words correctly. I found this tricky because I found some of the words hard to write. My next steps are to learn all the words.

I am learning to notice punctuation marks. I found it tricky because it is hard to look at the punctuation and the sentences. My next step is to keep practising.

I am learning to skip count in 2’s and 5’s. I found it easy because I used the hundreds board to help me. My next step is to try without the hundreds board.
